The American Jousting Alliance strives to offer Jousting Tournaments and Shows that are safe, exciting, entertaining and competitive.
Mr. Zoppe has 18 years experience training horses and people in the Art of Jousting. He's trained for Universal Studios, Circus of the Stars, The Fisher King Movie and hundres of live shows.
Horse for the shows are trained veterans ranging from 1000 pounds to 2000 pounds in weight They have a rich history ranging back to the Normans. These horses, called Percheron Horses originate from the Perche region of France and are known for their agility, size and intelligence.
Whether you're interested in becoming a jouster, skill-at-arms competitor performer, member or even spectator, we've got a lot to offer you.
